I'm so excited to have another dining/drinking option on Main Street. I've been here several times now since it has opened, and I think excellent things are to come from this place. Hitting up the bar after work is perfect for me. GREAT bartender, slightly better prices than across the street and a much more relaxed atmosphere (while still looking polished). Did I mention there is free pool on a lovely table and shuffle board? Major win! There is also a small stage, and I've heard a couple good acts perform on late evenings. Regarding the food, I'm vegetarian but everyone I have been here with LOVES their chicken. In every form. They rave about it. Their blackened salmon sandwich thing has also resulted in swooning from my friends. Out of the veggie options, my favorite is their yummy sauteed mushroom sandwich. The nachos are good, but across the street does it better (personal preference). On the negative side, when I came here with a group for dinner on a busy weekend night, the service left a lot to be desired. We were informed that the computers were messing things up, and I felt sympathetic, but my dining companions were pretty irate. I'm crossing my fingers that it is just some kinks needing to be worked out since this place is so new, because I have really high hopes for the Bruhouse. As long as they continue to have great food, and DO NOT raise their prices, they are going to thrive. At the very least, come sit at the bar on a weeknight. Have a drink and some food. I can definitely recommend that! And keep your eyes on this place, when the weekend service issues are worked out this place is going to be a huge success on our soon-to-be-booming Main Street! Looking forward to updating this to 5 stars in the near future!

I've been wanted to eat downtown ever since the grand old "revitalization" of the Rose District. The sister and I came here on Saturday for lunch shortly after the resturant opened at 11am. Walking in was slightly awkward. The open sign wasn't on, so we weren't sure if the place was actually open. It didn't help that we walked in to an unmanned host station. We heard voices, so that's where we went. Walked into the bar area, still no one to help or greet us. Okay. We'll sit ourselves and hope someone notices us. Luckily someone did and we were immediately brought menus and had our drink orders taken. Besides the awkwardness at the beginning, service was good throughout the meal. I got the open-faced chili and cheese burger with a side of cheese fries. The burger was cooked well - I just wish there was more chili on the burger. The fries were topped with a couple types of cheese. It seemed like the fries got cold kind of fast, though, so I don't know if my food was sitting under the heat lamp for a while in the back. We also got a slice of chocolate cake for dessert, which was DELICIOUS. The cake was moist and had layers of chocolate mousse and cheesecake. It was expensive, though, for the size (around $4). One nice thing about this place is the free pool and shuffleboard table.

Tried to call in a to go order tonight... called 4 times and each time the phone just rang and rang and rang until the line disconnected due to no answer on their end. Lame. They just missed out on a $70 to go order.

We came here on a Friday evening because everywhere else was so busy. We should have just waited somewhere else! There was no one at the hostess table when we came in. We stood for several minutes and then an off-duty waitress that was there seated us. Service was so-so throughout the meal, due mainly to the fact that they only had 2 servers working. Our cheese fries we got as an appetizer were good, but nothing too remarkable. My fiance' said his burger was decent. My pork chop looked really good, but was overseasoned and undercooked. The mashed potatoes were the best part of my meal. I would go back just for them! Our draft beers were overpriced. I may be willing to give it one more shot, but I wouldn't count on it.

Service has gotten worse. We got sat, then waited. No one even acknowledged we were there. I left without eating and I won't be back.

Did not like their food. I hung out with my husband and played pool for a while. Their back counter near the pool table was sticky and full of ants. Bartender was nice. .

First time here, excellent lunch of Blackened Chicken Sandwich, tasty cheese fries, and very good blackened bacon burger too. Definitely coming back for beers and shuffleboard I discovered on the "pub" side.

Don't mind the negative reviews, it was great. :) I've been to many restaurants in many cities, and this one stands out as loaded with atmosphere and awesome food. Definitely worth the visit. They have a tuna steak salad that is out of this world! Can't wait to try more dishes. Will be a regular here.

Tonight was my second visit here. My wife ordered a glass of wine and it was mostly vinegar. My beer was nice and cold. The menu was kind of boring so we decided not to eat.

Ordered my burger medium and it came out extra crispy! Didn't receive the burger veggies that were suppose to come with the burger. I was also charged for honey mustard.... Maybe I should charge them for burning my food. I will not be a repeat customer....,

Same experience as the previous reviewer. 3 customers seated at the bar, 2 bartenders and several other staff milling about. We seated ourselves and waited and waited. We got up and as we were walking out one of the bartenders says , " would you like something to drink?" Sheesh! Um no thanks, we just came in to eavesdrop on you. I gave them 2 stars because we had been here a couple of times before and the service was fine. Their food is decent but not extraordinary. The dining area has no character so we chose to be seated at the bar. I really want some good options on Main Street and so far Bruhouse's future looks dim.

The food was Great! But the service excruciatingly slow. If the one waitress/hostess was half as interested in the customers as she was her IPhone at the hostess stand it would have been a better visit.

I've only been here once, not sure if I caught them on an off night or if what I experienced was the norm. It took at least 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there and get us a table. Seems like they were severely under staffed. Once we finally got seated it was another long wait to get our drink order followed by another 10-15 minute wait for our food order. We got burgers and cheese fries. The food was ok but way over priced for what you got. Wouldn't recommend.

The wifey and I went to Bruhouse on a Saturday night @ 9, the restaurant side was empty except for one couple finishing up, no hostess at the stand. After we were seated, and we sat for another 7 minutes, no one had even come over to take our drink order. We decided leave and we were leaving, the hostess that sat us looked at us and didn't say anything.. This is disappointing because we are excited about the good things going on in the Rose District... I guess we should have sat on the bar side...

Third time here and I had their signature chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries, both were incredibly good. Those might be the best sweet potato fries in town.

It was nice to visit a restaurant that wasn't too crowded, and had exceptional food. We ordered the Harley Dip, burger and chicken strips. All very good and loved the rosemary fries.

This place is nice, great atmosphere, fantastic food. The separate bar would be nice for a late night hang out but you can also eat I'm the restaurant side or out on the patio.

My wife and I visited Bruhouse in Broken Arrow with our 2 teen boys for the first time tonight after reading a good review in the Tulsa World. Ambiance and atmosphere are limited, due to the dining room being a narrow rectangle with little to look at other than a giant television on one wall. It doesn't have nearly the atmosphere as the Main Street Tavern across the street. It feels closed in and cramped, with office-style drop ceilings and a narrow, boxed-in dining area. Service was fairly prompt and friendly. My wife ran out of water once, but my kids and I enjoyed and endless stream of soda. The food was the star here. My wife and I both had blackened chicken nachos. This was a really good meal. My only complaint was the menu description of being 'smothered in cheddar, jack and queso fresco' cheeses didn't match up with what I got. There was really very little cheese on either of our dishes, although we really like the taste of the other toppings. It was a very satisfying meal. My kids both had burgers. Bruhouse's burgers are on the smallish side, unlike what you'd get at a place like McNellie's (1/2 lb patty?). Bruhouse's seemed to be 1/3 lb total with 2 patties on a smaller bun. The fries were standard, thick skin-on fries, and very good. I believe we'll go back, as there were a lot of menu items I wanted to try. And I want to support businesses opening in Broken Arrow. I hope they'll make some improvements necessary to keep families like us coming back and spending $50-$60 for a good meal!

Stopped by with our daughter to try out a new downtown restaurant. The 2 stars I do give Bruhouse are due to the food. My chicken strips were very good and my husband enjoyed his burger. The fries tasted a bit old, but were okay. The service, however, was TERRIBLE. We were told, as another reviewer stated, that the computers had a glitch and didn't submit my husbands order. His food took forever to come out. Not to mention the half hour it took for someone to take our order in the first place. Our drinks were not filled throughout the entire meal. When I pay $2.50 for a diet coke, I would like it to be filled. Did I mention we were one of 3 tables? Overall, food was okay, but we will not be returning or recommending Bruhouse.

Here's my opinion of the place; it was dead, 3 tables, 3 waitstaff and 1 hostess and the service was AWFUL!!! The manager was there (I could see him chatting it up with the staff in the back the entire time) and not once did we get an apology from anyone on the amount of time it took to get out app (12 min!!!!) some would say let it slide there're new and need to workout the kinks, BUT this is no new rodeo for the mgr he's been there done this and I personally think he is just lazy. He will def loose customers if he continues to run a ship this lax. The food on the other hand was pretty yummy. Bob Marley dip and my reg ol' burger was quality ground beef with fries that tasted equally as good.
